Yes! Book a free 30-minute consultation call. We’ll talk through your situation and figure out the right path forward. No pressure, no pitch. Do I need a brand and logo before you can build my website? Not necessarily, but it helps. If you don’t have a brand identity yet, we can tackle that first or handle both together. Starting with brand gives the website a stronger foundation. How much does a new website cost? Every project is scoped individually, but most small business websites start at $2,000. Larger builds with custom functionality run higher. The consultation call is the right place to get an accurate estimate for your situation. How long does a new website take to build? Most small business websites take two to four weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on scope and how quickly content and feedback come together on your end. Will I be working directly with you, or will my project be handed off? Directly with me, start to finish. There’s no account manager between us and no junior developer doing the work. You get a senior engineer on every project. How involved do I need to be during the project? More at the start, less in the middle, more again at the end. The biggest time investment is upfront — providing content, giving feedback on designs, and approving direction. After that I handle the build, and you’re back in it for final review before launch. Do you work with clients outside of New York? Yes. I’m based in Glens Falls, NY but work remotely with clients everywhere. Most projects run entirely over video calls, email, and shared project tools. Do you only work with WordPress? No. I work with whatever tool the job requires. I have experience with other platforms, including Shopify, Squarespace, and Wix. I have extensive experience with WordPress and I prefer it, because it empowers businesses to own their platform and tools; and has the notoriety of being the most stable and extensive platform for good reason. Also, it power much of the web today. What happens if I need changes after the site launches? Minor revisions within the first 30 days are included. Beyond that, changes are covered under a maintenance plan or billed at my standard hourly rate. Who owns the website when it’s done? You do, completely. All files, code, and content belong to you. You’re never locked into using me for future work. Will I be able to update my own content after launch? Yes. WordPress is built for that, and I’ll make sure your site is set up so you can manage content without needing a developer for routine updates. Training is included. Of course, if you prefer to have someone to routinely maintain and provide content updates then we can discuss a maintenance package as well. Do you offer ongoing support or just one-time fixes? Both. Maintenance packages provide continuous monitoring, updates, and monthly support. I’m also happy to do a one-time optimization or knock out a specific problem. How long does SEO take to show results? Most businesses start seeing meaningful movement between three and six months. SEO compounds over time — the work you do today keeps paying off long after the work is done, unlike paid ads that stop the moment you stop paying. How long will it take to perform an audit?
