I’m Damon, a senior web engineer with over a decade of experience helping businesses build and improve their online presence.
I work with small businesses, founders, and growing teams who need a trusted technical partner — someone who can take ownership of the work and make smart decisions without a lot of back-and-forth.
For most of my career I worked inside larger organizations — agencies, product companies, enterprise teams. The work taught me a lot, but over time I wanted something different: fewer layers between me and the people I was actually building for.
Going independent was a deliberate choice. Working under Noma Digital, I take on a focused number of projects and invest fully in each one. That means I’m genuinely thinking about your business, not just your codebase. You get someone who understands the technical side deeply, but who’s also paying attention to whether the work actually moves the needle for you.
The name comes from navigation — finding your bearings, moving with intention. That’s the spirit I try to bring to every engagement.

I’ve spent my career working across the full range of what WordPress can do — from small business sites to large-scale publishing platforms — at organizations including WP Engine, 10up, and GoDaddy.
That breadth matters for smaller projects. When you’re not a large team with specialists for every layer, you need someone who can hold the whole picture. I’ve worked at that level long enough to know what corners are safe to cut and which ones aren’t.
I’m also a contributor to WordPress Core. It keeps me close to where the platform is headed, which means the work I build today won’t become a liability tomorrow.
